Comment
[edit]"A version currently in beta testing has now been developed for (Intel Processor Based) Macintosh OS X (Leopard) v.10.4 and higher." is incorrect. Version OS X 10.4 was called Tiger and 10.5 Leopard (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X#Versions ). Which should it be? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.75.219.34 (talk) 20:51, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Exact versions
[edit]- Version 6.0.2.621 is the last version that still supports Windows Me.
- Version 7.0.0.125 is the first version that doesn't support Windows Me.

Clarification
[edit]Under the "Security Flaws" there is a sentence that says, "One could let attackers commandeer systems that use it." with respect to two critical flaws. I believe the statement is too vague to offer any relevant information. It would be good to have a clarification of that statement.174.29.187.27 (talk) 17:40, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Article protection
[edit]Why is this article still semi-protected? The last edit warring was in 2009, since then the protection remains and this article slowly stagnates because of this, unlike the other non-protected articles related to Kaspersky Labs and their products. Not that anyone actually cares about making Wikipedia useful for its readers, but come on, guys... 173.68.110.16 (talk) 18:51, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- Unprotected. Please buck the trend and improve this article. DMacks (talk) 19:04, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

"Instantaneous" updates??
[edit]There's no such thing as "instantaneous" updates as touted in the first paragraph of the "Features" sections -- nothing happens in zero time. And in fact the reference to PC Pro in the "Awards" section states "Kaspersky runs to an hourly schedule, improving your chances of being immunized ...". An hour is a lot longer than "instantaneous". That's just promotional hyperbole and should be elided.

Freemium license
[edit]I believe this should be changed. I couldn't find any free/freemium versions for this specific Kaspersky product. There are a few other free/freemium products on their website, but not this one. Even the page which contains a comparison of AVs on Wikipedia doesn't list it as Freemium.
