File:KMKadish.jpg - copyright concerns
Regarding creative commons copyright for this image
You expressed concerns about the Photo of Dr. Kadish that was originally located on his webpage, kadishchem.uh.edu . My understanding of the copyright as listed at the bottom of the webpage was that it addressed the page itself rather than the individual elements. However, I am Dr. Kadish's assistant and currently maintaining that website - and having been requested by Dr. Kadish himself to create the Wikipedia entry, I don't think copyright of this image should be an impediment.
While I was not the original photographer, the image in question was created at the University of Houston in the Department of Chemistry IT department. Before I used the photo (as opposed to creating my own image, since I lack sufficient photographic equipment) I confirmed with the University of Houston, Department of Chemistry, IT department (my contact was Jerry Do, <jhdo@Central.UH.EDU>) that this image is, in fact, acceptable to post with unlimited (creative commons) use.
Please let me know if any additional documentation is required to make sure this image is acceptable for publication.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
