About the title

KG Lagerfelt's title att that time,was Minister at the Swedish Legation in Tokyo. The title Minister, in this context, denotes the head of mission who is not a full Ambassador Plenipotentiary. Later the legation was upgraded to an embassy, and the emissary was titled Ambassador. It is possible however that he discharged certain consular functions as head of mission. Name

Is it really very wise to include his initials, or his title, in the article's title? Especially when the initials are on both sides of the first name, this seems like an unusual practice. Couldn't he be just "Karl-Gustav Lagerfelt"?

Divorce

There is no citation for the divorce and it is not mentioned in the Swedish version of the article. I have not found a newspaper reference. His first wife died before his second marriage. There was a divorce in 1895 of an earlier Baron Lagerfelt https://nyti.ms/40mn1mq - is that where the confusion arose? Matilda ^talk 06:28, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
