[edit]She was born in Canada but then moved as a child to the US with her family. She then got an American citizenship (giving up her Canadian citizenship) and later on an Israeli one once she moved to Israel. Wdt222 17:04, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Wdt222
- That should probably be mentioned in the article so editors don't attempt to change "American" to "Canadian". ... discospinster talk 14:40, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Copyediting
[edit]This article contained a lot of time-sensitive material, for example, how many students she has trained and what societies she is president of. I fixed as much of this as I could, with references where I was able to find them.
I have removed two of the prizes because I could not find any reliable source that stated Avraham had won the award. I hope someone can provide a reference so that they can be replaced.
"Avraham has been awarded the Sir Bernard Katz Prize from the Humboldt Foundation (Germany)" . . . and the Teva Prize for Groundbreaking Research in the Field of Rare Diseases from Teva Pharmaceutical Industries.
- Katz Prize - I found a Katz Prize from the Biophysical Society, but no mention of Avraham. I also found the Humboldt Foundation, but no Katz prize or mention of Avraham.
- Teva Prize - Teva has lots of prizes, but I couldn't find Avraham's name.
