Orthodoxy
[edit]Orthodoxy is not so common here in Japan, anyone know the story behind that? Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 09:50, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
As you said, that was not so common. However, it is often that A person's belief is known after his or her death in Japan. Her Orthodoxy has been written in the References.
- Japanese: "川村さんはモスクワで生まれ、幼い時にロシア正教の洗礼(洗礼名アナスターシア)を受けており、"[1]
- English: "Ms. Kawamura was born in Moscow, and she was baptized in Russian Orthodoxy when being young (Christian name is Anastasia)"; (my translation)
And her funeral is shown by TV and Newspapers in Japan. The funeral place has been also known.
- See: [2](Funeral place: Holy Resurrection Cathedral's picture)--Kliment.A.K. (talk) 16:25, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry but I fixed word-lack of my translation.--Kliment.A.K. (talk) 16:29, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Disambiguation required
[edit]The term "Russian-Japanese" doesn't make any sense. Is this supposed to mean that she is of mixed Russian and Japanese descent, or a Japanese expatriate in Russia, or a Russian citizen? Please disambiguate and clarify. Thanks, cab (talk) 11:31, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind, found it myself on jawiki. Now if anyone knows of an actual reliable source confirming that information, please add it. cab (talk) 11:39, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
