- From then until 1985, many buildings including the primary school (1970), post office and two hotels were constructed. In 1885, the Bridgetown Agricultural Society was formed and local farmers produced sheep, cattle, dairy products, timber, fruit and nuts. The gold rush from 1892 onwards saw a considerable increase in settlement. In 1907, a number of significant buildings including the police station were built.

Something odd about this - (1) Bridgetown (2) no sequence of dates - any help to decipher the issues would be appreciated SatuSuro 03:06, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think it's my fault actually. When this article was being expanded I sent the editors to the Bridgetown article as an example of a fairly reasonable country town article. I think some bits got lifted and pasted in that process which had nothing to do with Kambalda. Orderinchaos 05:36, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
