A fact from Kaludah appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 September 2021 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Kaludah was destroyed by fire in 1911, just two years after she was commissioned?

... that Kaludah was a two-year old ferry on Sydney Harbour that was destroyed by fire in 1911? Source: Andrews, Graeme (1994). The Ferries of Sydney. Sydney University Press. p. 161. ISBN0424002027.
Overall: Article is new and long enough and no plagiarism. The hooks are cited and ALT1 should be used as it is more interesting than the main one. QPQ not required by the user (this will be their fourth DYK nom FYI), and the picture is used in article, free use, and looks fine at 100px. One note Merbabu (that won't affect this nom), almost all the reference titles are WP:ALLCAPS aka "shouting". Please adjust those to normal title/sentence case. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 20:06, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Favre1fan93 for the review. A comment and a question: the "all caps" comes from the otherwise very handy citation generator at https://trove.nla.gov.au/ (eg, this article has cites under "i" at top left). I will contact them...maybe they can change it for future use. Also, how can find previous DYK's nominations? In my case, I nominated this article and Kulgoa recently, but don't recall the other two. thanks again, --Merbabu (talk) 22:28, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Merbabu: I can't speak to outside citation generators, but at least on Wikipedia, per WP:ALLCAPS, that should be avoided. In the DYK Toolbox template, there is a "QPQ check" link. Entering your username says you have DYK credit for Legion of Ratu Adil, Menara Kudus Mosque, and Kulgoa, and if you don't have any other active nominations, this will be your fourth. Once you hit 5, you need to start the QPQ process. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 23:01, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Favre1fan93 - of course, i wasn't pushing for CAPS, rather just saying where it came from. :-) As for the QPQ check, i don't think i had anything to do with a nomination...maybe i merely suggested them to the authors and the bot picked this up?. It was 10 years ago! :) whatever way, i will look out for DYK noms to review. thanks again. --Merbabu (talk) 02:53, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
