This figure has been widely covered in serious Indian media as an expert on the sari. While I agree that a lot of the phrasing is promotional, it would be far better to chop out the promotional phrasing rather than delete an entire biography of someone who's gotten this much media coverage. Removed the templates after removing promotional content
Kalpana Shah is a public figure who has a lot of media coverage at national and international level. She has been widely covered in Times of India, Hindustan Times, Economic Times, Indian Express, Wall Street Journal and many more. These mentions clearly establish the notability of the subject. Beside notability the content is neutralized with proper phrasing.
