this information was taken from the japanese wikipedia and i am just translating from a friend as she also appears in the video game samurai warriors 3 and she has a significant role during the sengoku period -i have had a message advising to keep csd g2 {{db-test}} on the editing side of the page which i have now done i hope you will allow this page to remain open as a source of information which is not on any english written language page on wikipedia which i will think add to the large wuantity of information available for any english reader

This is not what the Japanese wikipedia article says. First, her name is only Kaihime. Second, the majority of the information listed here is out of context of what she actually did or states incorrect facts. Third, even Japanese historians are unsure of whether or not she participated in any battles/fighting. The only things so far on this article that is correct is that she is the daughter of Ujinaga Narita who was a retainer of the Hojo, the bit about Gamo and being Hideyoshi's concubine.
Information that is incorrect: Oshi Castle was owned by the Narita family, not the Hojo. Peasants did not help in the defense of Oshi Castle. Mitsunari was not defeated by Kaihime, it was by the water attack. Kaihime did not participate in the defense, it was supposedly in the routing of Mitsunari's troops. Masayuki and Yukimura were not the only reinforcements, Asano Nagamasa came as well. She was said to have only fought Asano and possibly took the life of one of his vassals. Most historians are unsure if these feats are true. Her father did not surrender because Odawara Castle fell, it was to prevent more loss of life and suffering for his family. It's debated on whether or not she saved Hideyoshi's daughter. It is also debated on whether or not she was actually there at Osaka. Kyosei (talk) 21:40, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
