Fair use rationale for Image:Guyana10Dollars-Front.jpg
[edit]Image:Guyana10Dollars-Front.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Kaieteur Falls Biggest single drop in the world???
[edit]Ok Someone’s research is way out , what is true? “A perfect day trip - chase waterfalls at Wallaman Falls in Girringun National Park (Hinchinbrook), part of the traditional lands of the Warrgamaygan Aboriginal people. And, when we say waterfall – we mean Australia’s highest single-drop waterfall, topping 286m” boasted by QLD tourism . If this is correct Wallerman Falls is the highest single drop in the world regardless of water volume, as Kaieteur Falls is mentioned at only 226m . Need some fact verification. - What are you thinking? All of you? there is no way this is the biggest anything, its just a normal waterfall. Come on, the tallest is Angel falls by literally 700 meters, this is ridiculous. Stop making fake claims. 190.21.117.215 (talk) 22:28, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
- The article has a few bits in the article that may be relevant here: 'largest'. 'While many falls have greater height, few have the combination of height and water volume'.
- Note, no claim that it is the tallest. Nobody claims that, but it is the biggest in its category. And while I personally found angel falls more picturesque, even at its highest water level it is just a trickle compared to the sheer volume of water dumped over the edge at kaieteur. ck (talk) 15:20, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
- Even the claim that this is the tallest single drop waterfall isn't true though. This page already lists over twenty larger single drop waterfalls, and the World Waterfall Database also boasts a list of the tallest single drop waterfalls. Kaieteur Falls lands at 162 on this list, far from the claim of the "tallest single drop" this page states! The claim should be removed from the article, it's misleading and untrue. (Keep the bit about it's impressive flow rate and height though! A beauty like Kaieteur should still be appreciated, even if it isn't the tallest). JunoTh1Corn (talk) 06:05, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
