Active NFL players

[edit]

At one time I saw that Kahuku had the most active NFL players. I think it was the last year Itula Mili played (2006 I believe) with 7. Is this not correct? I see there are 10 (11 pro) former/current players. I tried to find how many from any one school there is now, and there are some with 5, but I think having 7 is pretty noteworthy, even if it is not this year, just the fact that in one year there were 7 would be something to note.

Can anyone confirm or deny that at any one time Kahuku had 7 active players? I think it was sometime between 2004 and 2007. (found one article that said Kahuku made it to 5 in 2006, but if you can list more that would be great!) --198.185.18.207 (talk) 00:02, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here is another article that says Kahuku had 6 in 2005:

["The five Kahuku products are Aaron Francisco (Arizona Cardinals), Chris Kemoeatu (Pittsburgh Steelers), Ma'ake Kemoeatu (Carolina Panthers), Itula Mil (Seattle Seahawks) and Chris Naeole (Jacksonville Jaguars)
Kahuku, ...had six players in the NFL last year."]
I can only find names of the 5 in 2006. Yoroshiku! --198.185.18.207 (talk) 00:21, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Manti Te'o attended Punahou... why is he on the Active Football Players list for Kahuku High School? Just wondering. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.3.61.78 (talk) 22:27, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Aloha kakou ~ Manti Te`o attended Both Punahou School and Kahuku High School during his "high school years". After a brief year for his freshman football season at Kahuku HS, Manti decided to transfer back to Punahou, where his father, was an assistant football coach at the time. Yes, it was one year - although it counts as Manti Te`o being a former Kahuku football player and a former Punahou buff n blu football player. Manti, along with some of of Manti's family and even former football coaches at both schools have confirmed this. Maluhia.

Dear "Yoroshiku" - Aloha kaua ~ Ohio go zai mas. Per your question, the correct number of former Kahuku players "Actively playing" on NFL rosters in the year 2006 was in fact six (6). The 6th name you are looking for is Toniuolevaiavea "Toniu" Fonoti - originally drafted in the 2nd round by the San Diego Chargers. His NFL career spanned from 2002 to 2009 and Fonoti was on several NFL teams during that time. Arigato. #JustTheFacts
