relevance of club's record
[edit]@Hmlarson: I saw you added the record of Canberra United last season, when Hogg played 2 games. Why is the club's WDL record relevant to the player's page? (especially as she only played 2 games) --SuperJew (talk) 05:39, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- Why is it not relevant? Hmlarson (talk) 06:15, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- As it is the record of the club she played for (which includes all the players), and not necessarily a reflection of her contributions. I could see the relevance if it was a vital player in the club's run, say the captain or a top goalscorer who played every game, but as she only played 2 matches... (kind of like how the internet made fun of Schwarzer when he won Premier League medals with Leicester and Chelsea despite not playing at all) --SuperJew (talk) 06:23, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- I've worked on several GA articles that include this. I think it's relevant and should remain. It looks like since this article was expanded 5x the size in the last five days, it's eligible for DYK on the homepage. Do you have any interest in that? - Ok, if you say it's something common in good articles. --SuperJew (talk) 16:09, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hmmm does she have a good hook for DYK? --SuperJew (talk) 16:10, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- You can check the Recognized Content tab in the WP:WOSO for some inspiration or just keep in mind for future new or expanded articles. The timing is important as it's something like within 5 days that it can be submitted. Hmlarson (talk) 22:11, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
