Confict for Member of Parliament till date
[edit]I'm confused. In the info box, it says he was a Member of Parliament till 2011, but in the article text, it says he resigned in 2008. This seems like a conflict, and the info box seems wrong. Want to check before I change it, because I'm not 100% sure. Gary van der Merwe (Talk) 22:32, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Good point. That might have been my messup. I have looked it up again and the Guardian says he left parliament in 2008 so I will go with that until a better source is found. Hope that clears it up? --Discott (talk) 20:44, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Good reference for Asmal as minister of water and forestry affairs
[edit]Here's a good paper that summarises the south african working for water scheme that was initiated by the south african Department of water Affairs and Forestry and confirms Asmal as the minister for water affairs - could be used as citation for this section
