[edit]

If someone can find better pictures, especially for XS2, that'd be great.

Nevermind, found it. madoka 14:26, Oct 10, 2004 (UTC)

The picture of KOS-MOS as a Soul Calibur 3 Create-A-Soul character is missing a part (Type X Socks). A more complete picture should be found.

First Line

[edit]

This line " A character/reference from the PS2 game series "Xenosaga". " is at the top of every other Xenosaga article and very efficient at explaneing what the acticles are about, so the repeated changes by Noisy are unnecessary and not following the now standard procedure for Xenosaga articles. I think this line should be put back in this article. - Revolver Ocelot 02:40, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)

deus ex machina

[edit]

she is the best example of a deus ex machina

I could be inticing a vandal but, explain your position? for a more relevent entry, I cleanuped the article. is it possible to remove the cleanup tag now? --Phil 07:42, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Height

[edit]

Is she really 5'3? All other sources I've seen say 5'6. Virgofenix 02:34, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I recall hearing that Xenosaga I&II had slightly different heights for chaos and KOS-MOS (he got taller, she got shorter). For KOS-MOS, some tried to rationalize this by saying it was due to her heels being taken out of the equation. Unfortunately, I can't confirm if this is true. I'll keep an eye out for more info. If Episode III doesn't change their statistics, it's probably best to keep to 5' 6". (PhoenixStrike 08:40, 6 July 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Namco the company has said that KOS-MOS 167cm(5'6), I think it's better to say that KOS-MOS is 5;3--This user is dead, and is in hell now 14:46, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maria

[edit]

It has been said in other Xenosaga character articles that "revelations" from Episode III (in this case, Maria) would be kept out of Wikipedia until the North American release. I have decided to remove the Maria subheading because of this. Furthermore, the information written concerning Maria was extremely incomplete and slightly inaccurate with certain points. Should the information be replaced despite this, at least rewrite it completely with the true information. The Maria subplot is quite complex.

  • The caption of one of the pictures mentions "Mary Magdalene" - being a major spoiler, I don't think this should be mentioned in a prominent place like a picture caption. I you just skim the article you tend to read it anyway. --80.143.203.32 19:54, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recursive acronym?

[edit]

Does it really count in this case, seeing how the "Kosmos" in "Kosmos Obey Strategical Multiple Operation Systems" actually refers to the Greek word for order, instead of the android's actual name. Hence why in Episode III, a blueprint for KOS-MOS describes her as having an A.I. based on the concept of order.--Tenka Muteki 01:54, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:All kosmos.jpg

[edit]

Image:All kosmos.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

merge

[edit]

Per the descision in the recent AfD there appeared to be concensus to merge this, at least until such time as enough reliable sources can be cited showing KOS-MOS is notable indivisually as a character from the series.じんない 20:28, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Half a decade later and the article consists of extended passing mentions. The topic would be best covered within the list of Xeno characters. – czar 05:58, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Czar I really wanted to disagree with you on this, as I love the Xeno games, but yeah, looking it over, it's everything we try to avoid in fictional character articles:
  1. Contains primarily in-universe plot-summary information.
  2. No creation/development content at all.
  3. Reception is all pointless passing mentions and endless silly "Top ten hawt anime girl" type list placement.
If no one's bothered to improve it in half a decade, I doubt anyone would oppose a merge. Sergecross73 msg me 19:31, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
