Trivia cleanup
[edit]I'm trying to find cites for the trivia section and in some cases I'm removing entries that are either unrelated to The End, or where I find evidence of it being incorrect. So far the ones I've removed are:
- *In December 2003, Bill Reid left for a competing Seattle alternative rock station at KYPT. Owned by rival Infinity Broadcasting, 96.5 K-ROCK lasted little more than a year and the station is now a JACK FM affiliate. Bill Reid had already been canned by The End prior to joining KYPT as noted in this article where it refers to him as "former End Staffer". [1] Perhaps it was Andy Savage that was meant? Savage went directly from KNDD to KYPT in October 2003. [2]
- *Shortly after The End dropped The Marconi Show, the program gained infamy when the hosts laughed while listening to audio from the Nicholas Berg beheading, leading to their dismissal from Entercom. While this is true, this is supposed to be an encyclopedia article about The End, not Marconi. Once Marconi got canned from The End, he's not important to the station's history.
*KNDD was the first commercial station to play the band Weezer. In June of 1994, the station played "Undone (The Sweater Song)". Its success with listeners prompted Geffen Records to promote the band nationwide.Weezer was signed by Geffen in 1993 and "Undone" was not released until 1994 this claim fails the logic test. [3] Actually, this one fails the Bobblehead can read test. I'll be heading back to find a source for this claim. Seems rather noteworthy.Found reference, back in article.

- This section has been tagged for a long time and references haven't been added. I've removed it. Other sections need to be removed as well if references cant be located.--Rtphokie (talk) 11:28, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Loudspeaker
[edit]This isn't going to be very helpful, I know, but Loudspeaker should be listed under discontinued programming. I don't remember anything about it, I want to say it was a segment where they played demo tapes but it was a long damn time ago. I have a T-shirt some where that refers to it. It would have been on between 91 and the spring of 95 (maybe beyond) somewhere. 67.189.48.254 06:17, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:KNDD-FM.gif
[edit]Image:KNDD-FM.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
