[edit]KFI and KNX and KPO were at 50,000 watts before KIRO was (all AM). KFI (AM), Los Angeles, CA increased its power to 50,000 watts in 1931; KFI is West of the Mississippi River. --User:68.7.8.107 posted this at the bottom of the article; I'm moving here since it was out of place there and unreferenced. --Lukobe 18:47, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit]The community opinion section has been removed as it is in violation of the following guidelnes:
And is considered vandalism as it was not discussed with the "community" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Goldman60 (talk • contribs) 18:52, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- I thought this would have more to do with POV and WP:BOLD. Consensus, we do not really know what the consensus is yet, only a few have weighed in. 63.3.21.129 (talk) 04:35, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see consensus outside two or three biased editors interested in this article, and I do not fully understand what you mean by WP:DISRUPT. I am going to put the section back up in about one week if I don't get a reasonable response. 63.3.21.129 (talk) 20:47, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Has been placed back up now (placed near the bottom). Will also support WP:NPOV. 63.3.21.129 (talk) 00:46, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Disputing Community opinion Section
[edit]I am disputing the community opinion section on the grounds of my interpretation of: WP:UNDUE and WP:NOR (and maybe WP:STRUCTURE im not completely sure though) I could not find using Google any source that stated the statement is community opinion, I myself being part of said community disagree with the statement and am pretty sure many other people would too. On another point it is not the radio station KIRO supposedly attacking said people, it is select KIRO hosts. So really this should be on the individual hosts pages as it is not specifically the radio station's page or at least it should specify which hosts. --Goldman60 (talk) 03:50, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Realign this article and KIRO-FM to reflect new marketing / Mariners
[edit]It is apparent that Bonneville now considers KIRO-FM to be the primary station and KIRO AM to be the simulcast. The reacquisition of Mariners broadcasts should also be discussed--Bonneville will be broadcasting those only on the AM station (but I can't find a source for that). KIRO to go sports and move its programming
[edit]What should be done?
Since the programming that is currently simulcasting is going to be moved to FM only and this station is going to change to an ESPN station what do people think needs to be done (if anything)
first the shows and hosts would need to move (duh) but what happens to the history and what do you do with the residual KBSG info on the KIRO-FM page —Preceding unsigned comment added by Goldman60 (talk • contribs) 09:10, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
