Tower Info
[edit]It's my understanding that KGAN used to use a tower on the Benton - Buchanan county line off of Highway 150 for many years. However, a check of the FCC database shows KGAN broadcasting from KCRG's tower. I was wondering if this could be verified, cleared up, and written into the article to make it up to date and factual. 67.224.16.233 (talk) 19:43, 19 January 2015 (UTC) Jack Sprat
1993-2004 logo
[edit]The logos used by KGAN from 1993 to 2004 looked similar to the logo used by RTL II in Germany from 1993 to 1996. J4lambert (talk) 00:01, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

RE: WMT-TV Being First
[edit]The second paragraph about KGAN-TV begins "Channel 2 was the first television station in Eastern Iowa, signing on as WMT-TV on September 30, 1953." That conflicts with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KWQC-TV stating that "KWQC [in Davenport, Iowa] first signed on the air on October 31, 1949, as WOC-TV." I believe that Cedar Rapids – Waterloo regional focus has adversely impacted the factuality of the KGAN listing. Rather than correcting this info myself, I am calling the point to editorial attention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaflick57 (talk • contribs) 19:57, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
