The result of this discussion was Merge - 2 1/2 years after the discussion started, I'm merging these articles, as these two articles are so small that it isn't needed to split them. Mentoz86 (talk) 14:22, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Geschichte has proposed to merge this article into it's parent club, KFUM-Kameratene Oslo, using the argument; "futsal is a tiny sport".

Futsal is in fact the fastest-growing indoor sport in the world, and is played in all the continents of the world by over 100 countries with 12 million players.
KFUM-Kameratene Oslo Futsal has won the Norwegian Futsal Premier League, and has also participated in the UEFA Futsal Cup.
The club has also gained broad coverage by media: Dagbladet.no, TV2Sporten.no, Fotball.no and UEFA.com.

So how KFUM's futsal department is less notable than the parent club, I cannot figure out. So instead of wasting yours and my time, please try to continue your good work here at Wikipedia, and rather expand the article. =) Best regards, lil2mas (talk) 11:12, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your view, but with multi-sport clubs I think its better to separate the club's elite teams in their own articles, and mention the club's minor sports in the main article. With elite teams I mean teams who have played in the top league of their sport; Basket: BLNO, Football: Tippeligaen, Futsal: Telekiosken Futsal Liga, Handball: Postenligaen, Ice hockey: GET-ligaen, etc. lil2mas (talk) 12:44, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Several of these, especially the handball leagues and women's basketball, do not strike me as very elite, especially if we go back just 10-15 years. I think that content should be the grounds for a split. We shouldn't split a six-sentence article into two three-sentence articles. Geschichte (talk) 16:58, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
