Is it a distro?

In the Kde Neon FAQ: "Not quite, it's a package archive with the latest KDE software on top of a stable base. While we have installable images, unlike full Linux distributions we're only interested in KDE software." 85.136.113.201 (talk) 11:59, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This doesn't make sense

These images were based on Ubuntu 15.10, but in April of 2016, upgrades to Ubuntu 16.04, which would eventually become the base for the first general release, which happened on 8 June 2016.
