The "Awards" were issued by an organization with 7 member schools (as of 2007)[1]. Basically every participant got a dozen awards. Would be interesting to add information on the use of this call sign back in 1923-1927. It was the first radio relay station. Built by Westinghouse, it was designed to rebroadcast transmissions from KDKA in Pittsburgh to the midwest and Pacific without using telephone lines. Wws (talk) 01:11, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
