Transmission Failure section

Seems like this section needs some closure (unless the parts on order from Japan three years ago still haven't arrived)... Northumbrian (talk) 00:55, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'd love to fix it but there isn't an 'edit' link. Suffice it to say that the transmitter in question was repaired just under a year after it died. NEC in Japan was forthcoming with the necessary part and the station was returned to full power where it stayed until October of 2008. At that time one of the two NEC's was removed to make room for the new Rohde & Schwarz digital transmitter for operation on channel 9. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tschall (talkcontribs) 21:53, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
