My Contribution to the Article
[edit]I added the last section of the article involving the cell cycle of K562 cells and their regulation. I made this contribution, because I felt as though the cell cycle and cell cycle regulation is an important aspect in understanding cancer cells and cancer cell lines, because malfunctions in the cell cycle are what generally lead to cancer.
There is still room for improvement on this article, such as rewording and reorganizing the introductory material, as it is rather hard to follow. In addition to this, there is room for more introductory material to be added about K562 cells such as their characteristics and uses. Diagrams and pictures would also help in displaying this information to help visual learners, as well as to break up the amount of text that is present in the article. Suggestions?
[edit]Hi, I noticed a lot of improvements to this article but one thing that could really help is breaking this information up into paragraphs so that it's easier to read. I also noticed a number of citations following this line "In addition to this method, Chinese medicine using the Eriocaulon seiboldianum plant is being researched and displaying a role in the inhibition of Aurora kinases." But it only gets a brief mention. This article probably doesn't need any more information but it could help expanding on that last line and talking about the experimental research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kabio401 (talk • contribs) 17:51, 17 November 2016 (UTC) Hi,I would like to commend you on the massive improvement you made regarding this article.I saw how the article looked before and I must say you really did a good job.My only suggestion aside from the one mentioned above is that maybe you could add a diagram of what these cells look like .DEMO-E (talk) 10:20, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
Thank You
[edit]Thank you for your suggestion. When I originally typed the entry, it was in paragraphs, however, when I put the work into wiki it made it all one big paragraph and I could not figure out how to correct that. Perhaps I could check with someone to learn how to fix that. Second, I could definitely try to add more to that research to expand on it a little to prevent the feeling of an abrupt ending, however, I could keep going and going on that information. I will try to elaborate and find a good place to stop. Thank you again fro your feed back Aport007 (talk) 22:12, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
Update
[edit]I was able to separate the entry into paragraphs as it was intended to be. I hope this helps the flow of the article as you were saying. Aport007 (talk) 00:31, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
