Relationship with Mary J.
[edit]No way was that just from 1992-1993...it was six years! Adding that it was "brief" to that statement doesn't make it true. Sourced below: Marysunshine 02:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
Rolling Stone: "Her music began to reflect the drama in her life more explicitly: for example, her tempestuous six-year relationship with K-Ci Hailey of Jodeci..."[1]
What follows is from Mary's wiki page : The album was a breakthrough for Blige, who at this point was in a clinical depression, battling both drugs and alcohol – as well as being in an abusive relationship with K-Ci Hailey.[41][42]
What that abuse is i have no idea. I do think this should be on his page that she claims not only was their reltaionship abusive in nature but also that he, K-Ci, was involved in it.
There are a lot of articles that point the source of the abuse as being K-CI. I have not seen the DOCU that came out in early 2020's as it is behind a paywall so cant comment on that.EnveeNV (talk) 16:54, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
Children
[edit]Can anyone find a source online that says how many children Hailey has, and what there names are? The current article indicates he has two children -- Devin Hailey and Deven Cedric Renard. It seems unlikely he would have two children both named Devin/Deven but spelt differently, and I can't find a source for Deven. Zzaps (talk) 01:04, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
