I've reviewed a few of these, and they're relatively quick to do, so I'll go ahead and do a few more. Comments to come in the next day or so. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 04:57, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've left comments about my concerns below, so I'll place this on hold for you to address them. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 16:33, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@PCN02WPS: Everything should be fixed now, let me know if I missed anything -420Traveler (talk) 22:17, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good to me, happy to pass! PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 23:27, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lead/infobox

[edit]
  • Looks like it'd make more sense to have the citation for "1927-present" after "present" rather than after "1927"
I'm not able to add a reference for present, but the reference here refers to the establishment date. -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 23:21, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "U.S. Highway 81" → The page title references "U.S. Route 81", should this be changed here?
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Before state highways were numbered in Kansas there were auto trails." → comma after "Kansas"
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
 Fixed I agree -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Then by 1928,..." → comma after "Then"
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Route description

[edit]
  • "The highway continues north to an at-grade crossing with a BNSF Railway track then reaches an intersection with US-160." → add a comma after "track", and perhaps change to "and then".
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The highway continues north, crossing Slate Creek, before crossing into Sedgwick County." → a bit repetitive (emphasis is mine), consider rewording to eliminate one instance of "crossing"
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "K-49 soon enters Viola as Grice Street. The highway soon exits the city..." → "soon" sounds like future tense and sounds a bit out of place to me

History

[edit]
  • "The southern terminus..." → specify that this is the southern terminus of K-49, rather than the southern terminus of the auto trail system as a whole
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Then zig-zagged northeastward from there to Wichita." → sentence fragment
 Fixed -420Traveler (talk) 22:15, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In a resolution approved on December 10, 1957 resolution, the overlap..." → remove bolded word but keep the comma after "December 10, 1957," per MOS:DATECOMMA
