Grasa de Cotnari merger

[edit]

Kövérszőlő just seems like another way of calling Grasă de Cotnari. Since this species of grape has originated in Romania, I suggest we make attempts to merge this article. Does anyone oppose this?Meşteşugarul - U 05:48, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We really need to merge these two. Even linked PDFs from unis contains statements that these names are just synonyms of the same variety. PeterLemenkov (talk) 07:52, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've just made a redirection (and merged all relevant content to Grasa de Cotnari. PeterLemenkov (talk) 21:32, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Any idea if the name was originally Romanian or Hungarian? It originated in Transylvania which is part of Romania but was part of Hungary, so attribution isn't obvious. - 94.44.253.13 (talk) 07:21, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
