While the article is well written, it seems to me like it was written more like a college essay than a Wikipedia article. The Wikipedia Tutorial states that "Maintaining a neutral point of view (NPOV) is one of the five pillars and founding principles of Wikipedia." This article presents only one point of view, and could use some serious improvement in that aspect. I'd be willing to work with others (including the original author of this article) in order to improve this article and make it more neutral.
Keep in mind that I think this is a well written piece, I just don't think that it fits the Wikipedia guidlines very well.
