Category issue

[edit]

The categories for this article are clear with regard to this subject's LGBT associations. However, the article is circumspect on the topic, nowhere clearly making the case, and some citations appearing where the matter is most addressed—hidden in footnotes—are either deadlinks, or are otherwise untraceable/unconfirmable.

If categories appear, the article should clearly make the case for the category, based on traceable citations. Absent support with traceable citations, the category should not appear. (In future, add categories only if the article makes a clear case, based on citations!)

I will remove one category, not to be provocative, but to draw attention to the need for attention to the category and the text that supports. 2601:246:C700:558:E5B3:34B6:DF93:960 (talk) 19:44, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Citations were found and added that established his DOB, DOD, places of education, and that he had a law proactice. So, in the edit summaries, the statement made that his practicing as a lawyer was yet unsubstantiated can be ignored. However, the categories stating his LGBT associations are as yet still poorly sourced (either by dead links, or by urls that are not amenable to this editor's verification. Rest of cleanup is therefore up to someone else. 2601:246:C700:558:788E:57D2:61D2:FF5D (talk) 01:18, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
