Comments
[edit]I have nominated this article for NPOV check as it appears to have been written by its subject. Stifle 20:07, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have made a few alterations but in the main it appears to be objective about his works and achievements. I am removing the tag. Ansell 23:40, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Removal of Prod reasons
[edit]I am removing the Prod tag for the following reasons:
- Multiple independent reviews of his work back up the textual assertions
- Has made contributions to two distinct areas, ie, travel and gothic literature as well as combinations of the two, ie, editor of "Other routes"
- Full professorship at a European University is prestigious, unlike "professorship" at an American university which all lecturers gain just by virtue of lecturing.
- He is a fellow of a Cambridge college.

Removal of unreferenced tag
[edit]I am removing the unreferenced tag as per the references to reviews of his works. Will get a bio outline for his achievements soon, but that alone does not deserve an unreferenced tag on the page. Ansell 23:41, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
