Tallest?
[edit]These is geting too singapore-centric and biased.
I think it is at least questionable that this may be the tallest man-made waterfall... apart for the obvious remark that 30 m. is no wonder, I know for sure that in Italy there is the "Cascata delle Marmore" (Marmore waterfall) created by the Romans over 2200 years ago, that is 165 m. tall. See also: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elenco_cascate_italiane#Cascata_delle_Marmore
or for the few ones who don't read italian:

8,300 litres ain't 18,000 gallons. Which is it? and what is even the point of mentioning gallons? --Paul 14:27, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- Mind telling us more about this 2200 yr old waterfall...in English? I dont think the website provided is usefull unless I have to read the whole damn thing.--Huaiwei 16:13, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- A bit late, but closing on this. I have pointed to the English WP article on Cascata delle Marmore. Changed to "one of the tallest" (it's way shorter than the other one, and can only be "tallest" with qualifications, which is uninteresting). About gallons, some of us are unfortunately stuck in gallons, but not imperial gallons, which I'm not sure why we need. Don Lammers (talk) 01:46, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
