Gay?
[edit]I'm pretty sure he's gay. I recall him doing an interview in "The Advocate". May he be listed under "LGBT Musicians"?
I've sourced this, and added the appropriate categories. cswpride (talk) 21:39, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Quentin Elias
[edit]The discussion of Quentin Elias has been the subject of a complaint. Unlike the stuff about Madonna, it lacks any source. Without one being provided, it does not belong in the article. --Michael Snow 05:36, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Removed "Los Angeles"
[edit]Junior has not played Los Angeles in a very long time. He has been a no show for every gig on the West Coast in recent memory. I have removed the reference to Los Angeles. It is quite ironic that he got pissed at Madonna for flaking, when he himself has become synonymous with the term. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathan Neil (talk • contribs) 4 June 2006
References
[edit]The article needs a bit of work.
"Where Shep left off in the 80's....." is a good example. What is the statistic, or reference, for this comment? It's hard to consider the article as not just another person's opinion without some hard fact to back it up. For example, "Shep Pettibone was the dj at the 10 biggest parties thrown at "X" disco in the 1990's. Junior exceeded that mark by.........". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rrrich7 (talk • contribs) 11 June 2006
- I've removed most of the hyperbole from the article, including that Shep Pettibone bit. I also removed some things that really need to be sourced before they are included, as well as a huge chunk of text that was copied from a copyrighted magazine. I encourage others to be equally aggressive about editing the article; biographical articles are no place be timid with edits for encyclopedic value.—mjb 06:49, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

If Madonna Calls Phone Call
[edit]The text claims that the voice is actually Madonna's on the song "If Madonna Calls" but in fact it was not. Junior asked her for her to record her voice for the track, she refused, and then he found someone with a similar sounding voice to imitate Madonna. He then recorded the track and the rest is history... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Synteq7 (talk • contribs) 4 July 2006
- Since there's no way to know, I've change the phrasing of the article to avoid implying that the authenticity of Madonna's voice on the track is certain.—mjb 06:49, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
"Selected" remixes
[edit]The "selected" remixes section is growing out of control, thanks to User:Epic.group. Is a comprehensive list of remixes really necessary? It is making the article unnecessarily long, and this information is catalogued at Discogs already. If there's no support for trimming it down or removing it, at least combine the entries for the same original artist and retitle it. mjb 18:47, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
