  • ... that the contest was hosted by the previous year's winning country - the next phrase about Malta is unnecessary as it is already included here. Instead link previous year
  • and was held in - only "in" is sufficient
  • a well-known Maltese television - remove well known
  • broadcaster unhesitatingly - unhesitatingly, clarification needed
  • who is anton attard?
  • origami look - make it clear
  • presenting recent editions - the use of the word recent is discouraged
  • the last line of the para is unsourced
  • the host broadcaster - host word is unnecessary
  • 'pre-draw' - no need of inverted comma
  • It was decided - by whom?
  • it was announced - again by whom?
  • Unfortunately, due to the website - remove unfortunately and also it is unsourced
  • the points in the table is unsourced
  • it needs to be an active member - what does active signify?
  • they believed the contest would not be a success under the German standards. - Clarify

  • @Royroydeb: sorry for the delay, I had not noticed my name being pinged via the notifications. I'm not sure if there was a malfunction, but nevertheless I am here finally.
I have addressed all of the points you raised above. The first two for the lead section are now corrected. I have removed the words "well-known", and "unhesitatingly". The latter I felt is unnecessary, as the broadcaster was "eager" to host, but that eagerness feels rather undue in these circumstances. I have added clarification on who Anton Attard is, and also changed the context of "origami look", so that it now reads "origami-like appearance". The word "recent" has also been removed. I've moved the source in the "hosts" section to the very end, as it was citing the entire content. I'm somewhat confused how to signify "active"; as the broadcasting union has different "groups" for the European national broadcasters. Any within the EBU area are classified as being "active". The only way I can think to signify this better, is to pipelink the phrase "active member of the European Broadcasting Union", and hopefully that would provide additional significance for those unfamiliar with the entire EBU's membership structure. Let me know if there are any other issues, and just in case the notification thing doesn't work again, would it be possible to leave me a {{talk back}} note via my talk page? Thank you. OK, I find it alright to pass it now. RRD13 দেবজ্যোতি (talk) 07:55, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Royroydeb: that is fantastic news. Any idea on when the GA pass will have been updated on the article? Wes Mouse | T@lk 10:14, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
