Reported offer from Red Sox
[edit]I've reverted two edits regarding a reported contract offer from the Red Sox, since both reports (and really, ALL reports of Boston's supposed offer) comes from Sanspo (or Sankei Sports), which in turn probably comes from a single site, NPBTracker. Japanese sports dailies are generally unreliable, as they often report rumors as fact. This may or may not be the case here, but I wouldn't include it unless someone from the Red Sox organization confirms the offer. At the very lease, we should wait until we have an article that doesn't rely on a Japanese sports paper report. --Mosmof (talk) 23:29, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
