[edit]There is an issue with regards to her religion. Her official bio used to say Christian. A few months ago, her official bio on her managing company's site stated Buddhist. The bio has now been edited to remove reference to religious preference. I think the issue should be left alone until something else comes along. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.140.162.88 (talk) 03:00, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
I second this as I was about to note the same thing. It should be noted that it wouldn't be a surprise for her to claim Buddhism as the college she attended is a Buddhist religious institution by nature. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShawnLee (talk • contribs) 07:39, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Ji-hyun vs. Ji Hyun
[edit]So is her name Ji-hyun or Ji Hyun? I'm aware that this is a transscription issue, but is there a reason why two different transscriptions are used in the article?
Also, it should be made explicit which is her family name and which is her given name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.235.217.235 (talk) 08:19, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think the wiki standard for korean names is to put a hyphen between the 2 given name sylables; ex: 김대원 == Kim Dae-won. --DinkY2K 13:46, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Also, the Hanguel given for her name isn't Jun Ji-hyun, it's Wang Ji-hyun, her real (not stage) name. If you look in the code, it seems like both names were listed in the koreanname template, but either the template has changed or that code never worked. Editing that is beyond my ability >.< --DinkY2K 13:49, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- It's Ji Hyun. http://www.sidushq.com/starhome/star_about.asp (Canadiancofee) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Canadiancofee (talk • contribs) 03:28, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]that story w/ the b12 deficiency has to be a joke. can someone who can read korean look into this? --Wongba (talk) 20:47, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Requested move
[edit]Jun Ji-hyun → Jeon Ji-Hyun — Jeon appears to be the preferred romanization; it is used throughout the prose of the article and only the title is inconsistant. Solid State Survivor (talk) 23:39, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- The correct spelling is however she romanizes (or her official rep does) on an official site. Find her agents site, her official site, etc and check how she romanizes it. Then whichever is wrong should be changed.--Crossmr (talk) 14:30, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- From the official facebook page [1], it is Jun.--Crossmr (talk) 14:38, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Is the capitalization change from Ji-hyun to Ji-Hyun on purpose? The nominator seems to only talk about the spelling of "Jeon". Jafeluv (talk) 11:51, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- After viewing the official Facebook page I would like to retract my position. Jun Ji-hyun seems to be the official romanization and instead of chaning the title to conform to the prose, the prose should be altered to conform with the title. Sorry for taking up everyones time with this. Solid State Survivor (talk) 22:02, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, I've removed the {{movereq}} tag. Jafeluv (talk) 08:28, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Photo
[edit]Her current photo is horrible: so horrible in fact, that it's almost grotesque. Anyone who's actually seen her in movies would agree. Can someone please find another suitable photo better portraying her physical appearance and her subtle innate beauty? Johnnyboi7 (talk) 03:17, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- The current photo has to be the most airbrushed photo I have ever seen. Surely there is a better photo that can be used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.152.176 (talk) 05:29, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
Photo 2018
[edit]A lot of photos of Jun Ji-hyun are collected in the Wikimedia Commons. Why use a photo that looks blurring in the Template:Inforbox person?--Huangdan2060 (talk) 02:33, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
