Veneration in the Eastern Orthodox Church
[edit]This article has long claimed that Julius and Aaron are venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Church, without citing a source. The claim was introduced here with the edit summary "added veneration to Eastern Orthodox Church (classified as British Saints)". My brief researches have failed to confirm this.
- The website of the Orthodox Church in America lists St. Julius the Presbyter of Novara, who is a different person, and does not list a St Aaron.
- They are not listed at The Orthodox saints of the ancient church in the British isles and Ireland, although this site appears to be self-published and might not be a citable source.
Eastern Orthodox Church#Mother of God and saints says "All persons currently in heaven are considered to be saints, whether their names are known or not", but this does not justify our saying that Julius and Aaron are venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Church. I will remove the references to the Eastern Orthodox Church. Verbcatcher (talk) 21:48, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
