Method of execution

The Czech version of the Julius Fucik article ntoes that he was in fact hanged, not beheaded, because the prison facility housing the guillotine was damaged by an Allied bombing the day before. There is no direct reference for this information but on the principle that different language versions on Wikipedia should not contain contradictory information, I'm making the English version consistent with the Czech. Since the Czech version, even unsourced, seems likely the better informed, and the claim of hanging seems entirely reasonable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tulliux (talkcontribs) 23:00, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
