Julius Caesar's father

[edit]

It is not quite correct that he was a Baker. In the 1841 census his occupation is given as Road Surveyor, in 1851 as Baker and Grocer and in 1861 as Railway Gate Man. See http://www.stevenberry.org/genealogy/getperson.php?personID=I2010&tree=SB1WIP for further information.

Also, I have his family tree back to Edward Caesar born c1667: http://www.stevenberry.org/genealogy/pedigree.php?personID=I2021&tree=SB1WIP&display=compact&generations=6

Regards,

Steven Berry

Date of death

[edit]

I have recently added an image of his gravestone which gives his date of death as 5 March 1878. The article lead states 6 March 1878. What is the source for 6 March? I realise a gravestone image is not a reliable source. SovalValtos (talk) 00:09, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
