Inspiration

"Inspired by the Boy Scout movement." As I understand it, she actually was a Girl Guide leader in England for several years before returning to the US and setting up the GSUSA. --Emb021 16:43, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Found the data on this and updated it. I am also bothered by the statement about her meeting B-P on a cruise and becoming engaged to him. I've never come across that in my readings on B-P. They did met, but never heard of any engagement. Will have to check her bio I got from GSUSA. --Emb021 16:49, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
many sources say they were engaged. Rlevse 18:38, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
When I was at the Birth Place, I can't recall them saying she was married or engaged to him. Darthgriz98 02:15, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Founding the Girl Scouts

Does "Founding the Girl Scouts" supposed to be "Founding GSUSA"? She the founder of Girl Scouts of the USA, instead of the founder of Girl Scouts movement in general which would be Olave Baden Powell. --Tomyan (talk) 02:09, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
