[edit]Juliana Scotá Stein, or Juliana Stein (born in Passo Fundo - RS, 1970) is a visual artist and photographer. Graduated in Psychology from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), and, in 1992, she also lived in Florence and Venice where she studied art history, art in watercolor and drawing. He worked with photography until the 1990s, where he developed artistic work with technique.
The images captured by Juliana's lenses are situated in a field of experimentation and poetic reading, which leads naturally to a reflection on the processes of production and reading of the photographic image.
Widely acknowledged in Brazil and abroad, he participated in the 29th Bienal de São Paulo, as well as joining the Latin American pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.
