This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it outlines the accomplishment of an academic in a similar manner to other notable academics. I understand the concern and I will work to fix the article within the week. I see how the tone could be interpreted as promotional, but it was not the intention of the article. The parts that I assume are the problematic are the parts that I added to show that he met notability standards, but were not intended to promote this person. The rest of the article was written in a very standard manner and I will edit it to fix this issue.
