When was she born?

[edit]

The New York Times obituary says she was 97 when she died? Does it say when she was born though? I do not have full access so I am not sure. We should be able to at least check and see what age earlier sources give for her, or on the other hand if they do not, that maybe should also be reflected in the article. For now I think it is safe to say she was born in the 1890s, but I am not convinced we can say anything more definite.John Pack Lambert (talk) 17:07, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Johnpacklambert I have a subscription. The NYT obit has the exact date in the first sentence of the seventh paragraph of the article which reads, “The Adler children were generally thrust on stage as toddlers, but Julia, who was born on July 4, 1897, almost broke the record.” This is also the same day and year given in Adler’s biographical entry in the academic reference work Women in World History on page 90. We have two high quality sources verifying her date of birth as July 4, 1897 and zero sources contradicting that fact. 4meter4 (talk) 00:37, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
