Proposed merge of Lyuli with Jugi people
[edit]Page already exists (Lyuli is another name for the Jughi people, see the Romani people series) Kazamzam (talk) 16:15, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
But Lyuli article is not referred to Iranian Jugis--Namaka (talk) 16:27, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
@Namaka: This article is not specifically for the Jugi people in Iran - if that's what you're trying to create, the title should be something like "Jugi people in Iran". As the Lyuli article mentions, the Lyuli/Jughi are an ethnic group living in Central Asia, namely Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Your article also mentions that the Jugi/Jughi live in Central Asia, hence the grounds for the merge. If you would like to make an entry about Jugi living in Iran, I would suggest making a subcategory on the existent Lyuli page as there does not seem to be enough material to warrant a standalone article Kazamzam (talk) 17:08, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
@Kazamzam: There are various Romani people in Iran but shockingly finding enough sources about them is very difficult. You're right.Jugi can be a sub category in Lyuli article.Merging with lyuli is better than completely deletion.--Namaka (talk) 17:42, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
