Not a quartet, not all male.

I'm not an expert, but the Fisk Jubilee Singers weren't a male quartet (see Fisk Jubilee Singers) although they were obviously the inspiration for the 20th Century black male gospel quartets. It doesn't invalidate the article, but it means it needs to be rewritten to reflect that. There are no citations, so I don't know where to source the information.StonePeter (talk) 05:39, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think that it's pretty clear that it's the "Jubilee" part of the name that is related, now that you've corrected the name of the group.
The connection comes from the original version of the article, which was written in 2004 by an editor who wasn't logged in (back in the day, you could start articles without having an account, and lots of people did). WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:39, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
