I'll be reviewing this as soon as I can. TCN7JM 11:19, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Leads for articles on baseball players are normally three paragraphs long. I think that second paragraph could easily be split.
  2. You should link the stat in the 2007 sentence in the lead to batting average with runners in scoring position. The link for batting average is fine where it is now, in a later section.
  3. For future reference, the abbreviation for Major League Baseball, "(MLB)", should be placed after the first usage of the term so that the two can be interchangeable throughout the remainder of the article.
  4. This article is lacking anything about his MLB debut in the section about his playing career. It doesn't even have the date aside from the infobox.
  5. Notable milestones such as Uribe's first career hit and his first career home run should also be mentioned.
  6. Take note of this copyedit to the 2002 subsection of the article. I noticed you had put the part about his four-hit game on September 17 before his struggles from May through August. Sections like these should be done chronologically if at all possible. Please make sure other sections are not similar before I resume my review in a few hours. (I am very tired right now and am going to bed.) TCN7JM 11:52, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  7. Alright, continuing the review, you should try to cut down on usage of parentheses in sentences. Phrases such as "In 146 games (minor injuries cost Uribe a few)" would read much better if you could remove the parentheses and put it in better prose.
  8. This is a minor nitpick, but the article uses the phrase "injuries cost" a few times. Try to switch up the verb a bit.
  9. In the 2011 section, you say that "his production was also the weakest of his career, hitting .204...". His production did not hit .204 or get any of those other stats, Uribe himself did, so this should be reworded.
  10. In the personal life section, you should switch around the refs so that they're in numeric order. One of the sentences currently reads "[22][4]".
  11. Most of the Personal life section before the shooting allegations subheader is cited to his player profile, which doesn't really work, as it doesn't verify the information given in the article. You should find sources that better fit the claims.

This is all for my review right now. I will put this on hold for you to fix these issues. You have seven days. TCN7JM 02:13, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Issues addressed; thanks for the review! Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 13:08, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not quite. Issue #11 has not been addressed, as that section remain poorly sourced. TCN7JM 13:15, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done. As I noted on the cite, you have to click on bio on the MLB.com page to see where it mentions some of the personal information. Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 14:31, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. I...didn't see that. Whoops. I reverted you there because it was perfectly fine, that being the case. Anyway, this article now looks good enough to pass. Nice job! TCN7JM 14:36, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
