Juan Antonio Sañudo → Tuto Sañudo – WP:COMMONNAME is "Tuto Sañudo", doesn't use legal name professionally. Ortizesp (talk) 13:28, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Tuto Sanudo doesn't appear to be his common name. A quick Google search for Juan Antonio Sañudo brings up 720,000 results. While a search for "Tuto Sañudo" pings only 41,500. Iamreallygoodatcheckers (talk) 03:37, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- You're doing a broad google search, which doesn't really specify in this case. "Juan Antonio" is certainly more common than "Tuto".--Ortizesp (talk) 18:37, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose, do you want more proof than the one above (the Google search) to see that most of your page moves (now, proposed page moves) are wrong? ANOTHER name/nickname compound (like Tarantini Monteiro, Diga Almeida, etc, etc, etc). Would be like naming Salvatore Schillaci "Toto" Schillaci.
Apologies if i sound harsh or aggressive, but i feel that too many wrong moves (with all the best intention of course) have been performed. Not just in page moves per se, but defaultsorts and intros as well. --Quite A Character (talk) 05:59, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hey, as I mentioned several times the older Portuguese moves were misinformed. I understand your frustrations. In this case, "Tuto Sañudo" is actively used - unlike the other cases where they drop last names and are known by mononyms. And regarding the intro and defaultsorts, I've been meaning to discuss what the best way forward is but I don't think page is the place.@Quite A Character: For the record, check the Spanish wiki's title for this page, and search google and see how often Tuto shows up when you search his full name.--Ortizesp (talk) 18:38, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

- Support - he is known as Tuto Sañudo though, see this. GiantSnowman 09:19, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- @GiantSnowman: and @Ortizesp: please see this (http://hemeroteca-paginas.mundodeportivo.com/EMD01/HEM/1986/09/18/MD19860918-012.pdf (an award from when he was 30 years old), reference #5 in his article, #6 from the Racing de Santander OFFICIAL website says the exact same thing), J-U-A-N A-N-T-O-N-I-O not T-U-T-O. --Quite A Character (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose: Per @Quite A Character: and @Iamreallygoodatcheckers:' arguments. No more input needed. MYS77 ✉ 02:32, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
