[edit]The Dutch East Indies were not invaded by Japan until January of 1942. I am puzzled as to how Justice Kennard could be born into a Japanese concentration camp eight (8) months before it would have been established. Either this is in error, or the birth date is in error.
- Like her retired counterpart from the Supreme Court of the United States, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, Kennard often asks the first question in a given case.
Could someone explain how Sandra Day O'Connor is her "counterpart" other than they both serve on Supreme Courts? nohat (talk) 04:25, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

This article is very weak. Joyce L. Kennard is an associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. I don't care about her leg, her gait, or her accent. While written in an unbiased way, this article points out nothing useful, but plenty of things that small-minded individuals might focus on. |
