Assessment and additional sources
[edit]I have assessed this article as a Stub class article of Low importance. The reason for this is that the article does not articulate the full notability of the subject as it does not explain why this innocent person was convicted in the first place and access to the cited sources is restricted. A google search using the subject's name reveals a number of potential free sources, including court documents that set out the facts of the case. For example:
- Joyce Ann Brown, Center on Wrongful Convictions, Bluhm Legal Clinic, Pritzker School of Law, Northwestern University]
- Joyce Ann Brown, National Registry of Exonerations, a project of the Newkirk Center for Science & Society at University of California Irvine, the University of Michigan Law School and Michigan State University College of Law
- Joyce Ann Brown, Centurion
- Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic, UNT Dallas College of Law, University of North Texas at Dallas
All of these URLs rank higher in a Google search than this Wikipedia article and I would expect to see them as cited sources, not just external references. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 06:57, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
