Are the above "Wener" stuff supposed to be about her? There is no evidence of that. That Dorothy could be her mother and has a daughter named Joy, but I think it's original research to connect the dots like that. 85.76.51.162 (talk) 14:40, 30 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Joy and I were a thing in 1976 or something, we spent a summer back & forth in my little Fiat Spyder from the city to her cottage in Quogue in the Hamptons. She was the proverbial intellectual Golden Girl who could quote Yeats and Creeley. Can't imagine she would mind my telling. Her maiden name was certainly Wener and she certainly was adopted, but I have only her word for that, no documentary evidence that would pass muster here.
