[edit]I think there is some confusion between Joshua Loring Sr. and Jr. To the best of my knowledge, JL Sr. left Massachusetts for England shortly after the beginning of the rebellion. It was his son, JL Jr. who oversaw the prison hulks, among other duties on the British Army's civilian staff. Winterbadger (talk) 15:23, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
