Accused sex offender and BLPCRIME

More of a question as opposed to a direct request but:

  1. Is "accused sex offender" the correct terminology to use in the lede, considering wp:BLPCRIME, especially in the light of editors must seriously consider not including material—in any article—that suggests the person has committed, or is accused of having committed, a crime, unless a conviction has been secured? Notwithstanding the fact that Duggar may be a public figure, for crimes of this nature, is it more appropriate to be very specific on the nature of the accusations to avoid accusations of tabloid-ish writing?

Edit request: Change from "accused sex offender" to "charged with child pornography offenses" in order to address BLPCRIME issues and wikivoice issues. 69.172.145.94 (talk) 09:02, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
