AUB & Short Creek Community Succession boxes
[edit]While Joseph's authority comes partly through John Y. Barlow, the AUB was not established until after Barlow's death (1952 with the ordination of the 1952 New Priesthood Council). Putting Barlow as a president of the AUB would be somewhat inaccurate. While it may be a church position of the AUB, putting the information on wikipedia could confuse the reader as to founded dates, etc. --Sthatting 20:05, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- The AUB may have been established as a legal body later than 1952 (1960s?), but how would AUB succession beliefs be represented unless by putting Barlow before Musser. Neither Barlow, Musser or Zitting were leaders of Short Creek (other men had been appointed to that position), and Barlow and Musser were leaders of Fundamentalists outside Short Creek. It seems to me that using AUB & FLDS would be more understandable and accepted by their followers

- Couldn't that just be mentioned in the AUB article? --Sthatting 16:03, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
